An Introduction of Yulin Chinese School 　　　　　　　　　　　　　

Yulin Chinese School was established in 1986 under the sponsorship of the United Chinese American Association, currently located at Fountain Valley High School in Fountain Valley. Our dedicated teachers teach our unique programs of language and culture, utilizing both original phonic and modern pinyin methods as well as traditional and simplified characters in different levels of classes. In addition, since 1993, our SAT II special preparation program has helped many students to include Chinese in their foreign language study in high school. Our students regularly participate in various competitions in composition, calligraphy, speech, poetry recital, and culture knowledge in intra and inter-school activities sponsored by the Southern California Council of Chinese Schools. Teachers and staff continually update their understanding of the teaching and learning process and technology skills by regularly attending the annual spring and summer teachers’ conferences. Yulin Chinese School is one big happy family pursuing the goal of propagating the Chinese language and culture in the local communities.
